Argentinian actress Silvina Luna, who was in serious health problems after a botched plastic surgery, has passed away. Silvina’s kidneys failed in 2011 after a surgery went wrong. Later it was a struggle to regain life with hospitalization, medication etc. After more than 12 years of struggle, they surrendered to death.
Silvina’s lawyer Fernando Burlanda informed the outside world about the death. Silvina was kept alive with the help of a ventilator. But when the doctors came to the decision that there is no other option without removing the ventilator, the family members also agreed.
Argentinian media reported Ms Luna’s death as shocking. During the cosmetic surgery performed by Dr. Anibal Lotoki, Silvina’s health was in danger when some chemicals entered her body. Doctor Anibal is facing legal action in the incident.
In 2016, Dr. Cristian Perez diagnosed Silvina’s kidney failure. With that, the doctor suggested a kidney transplant. But his condition worsened after he could not find a donor. Later life was maintained with the help of a ventilator.
