But he no longer lived to see her.
In the summer of 1999, there was unbearable heat in Moscow, which only aggravated the problems of the heart patients. 62-year-old Demyanenko was hospitalized before the operation and the necessary tests were taken.
However, the day before he had a heart attack right in his hospital bed. And in the entire clinic there was no one who could perform emergency bypass surgery on him. And all because of a gross mistake by the management of the medical institution: all cardiac surgeons were sent on leave at the same time.
