A J studentMining Engineering Affairs, Faculty of Engineering, Sriwijaya University (Unsri) died in Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. The victim with the initials RN died allegedly after having an abortion in her boarding room.
“Yes, there really was an incident (Unsri student died because of an abortion). Yes, the crime scene (abortion) was there, in the victim’s boarding house,” said Acting Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Ogan Ilir Police, Inspector Herman, as reported by detikSumbagsel, Saturday (18/11/2023).
Information collected detikSumbagsel, the incident occurred on Jalan Gang Lampung Bedeng Lahat I, Timbangan Village, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir on Friday (17/11) yesterday, at around 10.00 WIB. At around 09.45 WIB, RN is said to have contacted his girlfriend, DP, to ask to be taken to hospital.
When he arrived at his girlfriend’s boarding house and saw the condition of the victim, DP immediately carried the victim into his black four-wheeled vehicle. While in the car, DP saw that the victim was not moving and his body was yellow and there was blood on his feet, hands and the back of the victim’s body.
Upon arrival at the hospital, the victim was examined by a doctor. The victim was later declared dead die.
Regarding this circulating information, Inspector Herman did not deny it. However, he asked for time to wait for directions from Police Chief AKBP Andi Baso to be able to provide a detailed explanation regarding the student’s death.
“Ready, (explanation) waiting “orders from the Police Chief,” said Inspector Herman.
