A 17-year-old boy who was shot in the neck on Thursday afternoon and was in critical condition has died, according to police reports.
The incident happened after four in the afternoon in front of 762 Cauldwell Ave.
The injured man was taken to Lincoln Hospital in serious condition where he died late at night.
So far there are no arrests, since the perpetrator fled – who would be another young teenager, according to police sources.
Even though there is a school in the area, it is not clear, according to authorities, if those involved have any relationship with the educational establishment.
The shooting would have been preceded by a dispute between several young people, according to the police.
The investigation is underway.
