The child suffocated in his crib
A 12-month-old baby died in Sapareva Banya, the Ministry of the Interior announced. The death was reported to the police by the city’s emergency services on December 25. The same day, around 5:00 p.m., the parents, who are from the district of Gyurgevo, are waiting in the doctor’s office, having brought their already deceased baby.
The medical examination did not reveal any evidence of violent death or traumatic injuries. According to initial data, the death occurred as a result of suffocation, the baby was found face down on his pillow, it is possible that he vomited food.
According to local media, this is the first baby of the year for 2023 for the Municipality of Sapareva Banya. It started crying in the early hours of January 1 this year.
