A 21-year-old woman died in the Rocky Mountains in the USA on Saturday, after falling more than 90 metres.
It states Rocky Mountain National Park in a press release.
The accident happened in the state of Colorado.

Man critically injured
The woman – who has not been identified – was traveling with a 25-year-old man. They were on their way down a steep rock wall when they both fell.
The man survived the fall, but suffered critical injuries.
Passers-by alerted employees in the park, who called for an ambulance, the press release states.
Fell 152 meters to his death
The man was flown to hospital by helicopter. 31 people took part in the rescue operation.
Due to challenging weather in the area, the rescue crews have not succeeded in transporting the body of the woman away.

Under investigation
The park states that the accident is now under investigation, and that it is currently uncertain why the man and woman fell.
The press release also states that the woman’s name will be published as soon as she has been identified and the family notified.
The death is the fourth in Rocky Mountain National Park so far this year. The other three fatal accidents all took place in July.
