Lower Saxony & Bremen 47-year-old dies after unsuccessful overtaking maneuver

Wildeshausen (dpa / lni) – A 47-year-old woman died near Wildeshausen (Oldenburg district) in an accident due to a failed overtaking maneuver. On Friday afternoon, a 37-year-old woman tried to overtake a truck in front of her in her car, but overlooked the 47-year-old’s car, which was already overtaking, as the police announced in the evening. The vehicles therefore touched slightly from the sides. The 47-year-old’s car left the road, hit a tree and overturned. The 47-year-old died at the scene of the accident. The 37-year-old and her two passengers remained uninjured.
