According to the American Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), the US Federal Aviation Administration stated that the accident occurred at around 14:45 local time on the 17th. One of the aircraft is a single-engine North American T-6G, and the other is a single-engine North American AT-6B. Only the pilot was on board.
The local media Reno Gazette-Journal reported that the pilots who died were pilots Chris Rushing and Nick Massey. According to reports, Racine was the competition champion of this competition and ranked first. Messi ranks second. Both pilots are from California.
The Reno Air Racing Association (RARA) posted on social media that the accident occurred at the end of the race. Relevant departments are notifying relatives of the victims.
