When a car left the road and overturned, its passenger died, LETA was informed by the State Police.
The accident happened shortly before midnight in Šķilbēni Parish, Viļaka District, when a driver while driving an Audi 80 could not cope with the driving of the vehicle, as a result of which he drove off the road and overturned.
A car passenger died at the scene. Another passenger was injured in an accident and was taken to a medical institution.
