Grave an accident at night: a truck hits and drags a centaur for several meters. The 55-year-old died instantly. The accident happened to himthe A34 motorwayshortly after the entrance to Gradisca d’Isonzo, in the nearby stretch Gorizia and in the case of Villesse. The dynamics are being studied by investigators.
A dead centaur on the A34
There is yet another serious road accident (after the serious frontal accident in Canosa di Puglia). On the night between Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th of April a man came from 55 years old lost his life in an accident with a heavy vehicle (another 20-year-old motorcyclist lost his life to a car). The centaur was on board his motorcycle when the worst happened.the truck crashed.
The conflict took place throughout thethe A34 motorway, between Gorizia and Gradisca d’Isonzo, towards Villesse. The affected section was cleared within a few hours and so far there have been no delays due to the accident.
The accident with the truck
The dynamics They are being investigated by investigators, who are trying to reconstruct what happened during the night. According to the initial information, it seems that the motorcycle was going into thethe A34 motorwaytowards Villesse, when he encountered the heavy vehicle.
The centaur would draw several meters, until he stopped in a jetty next to another large vehicle that stopped for the night (in Ghedi, however, the motorcycle was thrown away by the impact).
Don’t rescue
The victim he lost his life, probably on the spot, just before midnight. The police, the emergency medical services and a team of fire brigades intervened on the scene.
For the 55-year-old on two wheels though there was nothing to do. The man driving the truck, a 60-year-old man with years of experience, was stopped instead. Unharmed, he cooperates to recreate the events of the night.
