Tragic accident near Częstochowa: Lorry and bus collision. One of the vehicles caught fire

Collision of two trucks and a coach in Bogusławice near Częstochowa on DK1. One of the lorries caught fire. Up to 40 people could travel by bus. The first information shows that at least a dozen passengers were injured.

A dozen or so people are injured, including several seriously. Helicopters from Air Ambulance fly to the accident site.

Preliminary information is about at least 20 injured people. The condition of several may be serious.

According to RMF FM reporter, four helicopters are flying to the accident site. They took off from Warsaw, Łódź, Ostrów Wielkopolski and Opole.

LPR dispatchers have not yet confirmed information on the state of injured persons. From the first information they received, it appears that about 40 travelers were traveling on the bus.

The accident happened on the lanes towards Warsaw. This is the renovated and narrowed section of DK1. The route is completely blocked.
