Merton County Police in London, the capital of the United Kingdom, reported Thursday that a girl died in Wimbledon when a car crashed into a private school, while six other minors and two adults were injured in the accident.

Superintendent Chief of Detectives Clair Kelland said “we remain on the scene and are continuing our investigation into the full circumstances of the incident,” in which a female driver in her forties crashed her vehicle into an elementary school.
The police entity stated that it received the first notice at 09:54 (local time), and the driver has been arrested on suspicion of reckless driving, while it is ruled out that the incident was investigated as a terrorist attack.

Likewise, Kelland requested that if anyone has information about what happened, they contact the authorities in a short time, and expressed his solidarity with the families affected by the event.
