By the time of sunset on Sunday, May 7, 2023, Damiana Sobhi Muhanna, who is no more than 15 years old and resides in the city of Disouq, was returning to her home after completing one of her lessons. While she was passing through Medhat Al-Zayyat Street, known as Cinema Street, with one of her classmates, a solid body fell on her. From a height, she was seriously injured.

According to eyewitnesses, they confirmed to “Masrawy” that when Demiana fell, she was soaked in her blood, and people and passers-by gathered in the street around her, in a state of shock from the horror of what they saw in a scene that aroused everyone’s grief, and some of them took turns crying in grief over what the student was subjected to.

The details go back to when Major General Khaled Abdel Salam, Director of Kafr El Sheikh Security, received a notification from Major General Khaled Al-Mohammadi, Director of Criminal Investigation at the Security Directorate, stating that Bandar Desuq Police Station had received a signal from the Desuq General Hospital police station about the arrival of student Damiana Subhi Muhanna Nasim, 15 years old, student In middle school, a dead body.

And by signing an apparent medical examination on her with the knowledge of the doctors of Desouk General Hospital, it was found that the student had suffered a skull fracture, brain hemorrhage, and nosebleed, and the cause of her death was likely as a result of these injuries.

The head of the Desouk Prosecution office moved to Desouk General Hospital to examine the body of the student, while the detectives of the Desouk department moved to the location of the incident, the subject of the communication. Examination revealed that the student, while passing through Medhat Al-Zayyat Street, the “cinema”, in front of a residential tower owned by a person called Jalal Rihan, who lives in Alexandria, had a body fallen on her. solid.

The investigation revealed that the solid body is a stone piece of gypsum that fell from the façade of the 13th floor of the same tower, and there was no person who was practicing architectural work at that moment.

With the question of her father, Subhi Muhanna Nasim, 63 years old, a distributor of medical supplies and residing in the city of Desouk, he decided to receive a phone call stating that a solid object had fallen from the aforementioned residential tower on his daughter while she was passing through the street that witnessed the incident, which led to her injury and her condition is serious, and she was transferred to Desouk General Hospital, where she died. There he accused the owner of the aforementioned tower of negligence.

Report No. 1430 of 2023 of the Administrative Department of Bandar Desouk Police Department was issued, and the Public Prosecution Office was notified to initiate investigations.
