Hamburg – The cyclist had no strength against the heavy truck.
Dramatic operation for the fire department on Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Neuhöfer Straße and Neuhöfer Brückenstraße in the Wilhelmsburg district. Here, around 2:45 p.m., a truck ran over a 60 to 70-year-old cyclist. Any help came too late for the man. He died at the scene of the accident from his serious injuries.
According to initial information, the accident occurred because the truck driver apparently overlooked the cyclist and hit him head-on with his semi-trailer.
