An 18-year-old boy from Scherpenzeel was killed in an accident involving two dirt bikes last night in Stroe, Gelderland. A 17-year-old boy from Barneveld was injured.
The accident happened on the Haarweg. According to Omroep Gelderland two dirt bikes would have collided head-on.
The 18-year-old boy was initially taken to hospital with serious injuries. He died there today of his injuries, the police reported. The other victim was treated in hospital.
The investigation into the cause of the accident is still ongoing, the police said.
