In a terrible accident in the Sheraton area, east of the Egyptian capital, Cairo, a Syrian youth who was driving his car at a crazy speed ran over a woman and her two daughters, which led to their death.
The Egyptian authorities arrested the Syrian youth, Hamed A., who studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Cairo.
Investigations revealed that he was driving his car at a crazy speed on a street in the Sheraton area, and this coincided with the attempt of a woman and her two daughters to cross the street, which led to their run over.
It turned out that the deceased woman was named Teresa Ghali, who was 45 years old, and she was killed instantly, while her two daughters, Nevin, 22, and Rogina, 19, succumbed to their injuries as a result of the accident.
The Syrian youth was referred to the Public Prosecution Office, which ordered his detention pending investigations.
