Pedal confused: 17-year-old dies in workshop

Unter Schneidheim (dpa / lsw) – An employee of a car dealership in Unter Schneidheim (Ostalbkreis) confused the gas and brake pedals in a customer’s car and crashed into a lifting platform in the workshop. The 17-year-old suffered serious injuries and died a few hours later in hospital, police reported on Wednesday. The property damage is estimated at around 10,000 euros.
