A young man died in an extremely ridiculous accident in the Eastern Rhodopes. 22-year-old Krasi jumped into a pond to cool off, but broke his neck on an underwater rock, reports 24rodopi.com.
The tragedy took place near the village of Zavoya in Kirkivs.
“Everything happened about a month ago. He must have gone to cool off. The injuries were very severe. Doctors in Plovdiv struggled for weeks to save his life, but alas, to no avail,” villagers told the young man.
Krasi’s funeral was on July 17.
