A particularly serious accident happened on Thursday evening on DN 7 – Valea Oltului, in Bujoreni. Four people, who were in a car, lost their lives, including a minor. The car, a minibus and a truck driven by a young man from Alba were involved in the road accident.
The accident happened on DN 7, at km. 182 + 100 m, in the town of Bujoreni, near Râmnicu Vâlcea.
According to IPJ Vâlcea, four people who were in the car died as a result of the impact. ISU Vâlcea communicated that three of the deceased persons were adults, and one was a minor.
UPDATE: According to IPJ Vâlcea, the four deceased people are from Vâlcea county: the 25-year-old driver, 2 other passengers, 26 and 32 years old, all from Bujoreni and a 14-year-old minor from Francești.
The TIR driver is a 23-year-old man from Alba county.
The minibus driver is a Polish citizen.
Six other people were in the minibus, but they had no medical problems.
The truck involved was transporting auto parts. The driver did not require medical attention
ISU forces with three special vehicles and SAJ with three ambulances intervened on the scene.
Road traffic was completely blocked for several hours.
According to local sources, the car was registered in Vâlcea county, and the driver was 24 years old. Some witnesses say that it would have been an irregular overtaking.
