The German co-driver died in a one-sided accident with a motorcycle with a sidecar at an event site in the province of Groningen. The driver was seriously injured. The accident happened in the town of Eenrum, where several races were held this weekend.
The accident happened around 3.20 pm on the grounds of MC Eenrum on Aagtsweg, where several races were held this weekend. The Master of Sidecars was scheduled for Sunday.
According to Newspaper of the North drove the motorcycle with the sidecar through a fence. Both the German driver and the German co-driver (baking driver) were injured. The former was seriously injured and taken to hospital. The baker had already died by then, according to the police on X.
As far as is known, no injuries were reported in the public. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
