Deadly accident
On the RN 3, near Latour-en-Woëvre, a young driver from the Paris region died charred in his car. The vehicle burst into flames after colliding with a tractor-trailer. The road made slippery by the rain seems to be at the origin of this tragedy. The firefighters of Fresnes-en-Woëvre extinguished the fire and extracted the body of the motorist, as for the truck, it had to be raised thanks to the intervention of the Cao d’Étain garage.
Fort de Vaux given pride of place
Far from the main centers of interest such as the Ossuary or the Memorial, this site is the poor relation of circuits on the battlefield.
