Tragedy in the Bronx. Two young people died, including a 15-year-old teenager, in the fatal crash of a car against a parked oil tanker truck.
According to the report from the New York authorities, none of them was the driver of the white Chrysler 300 vehicle, but rather another person who is injured, but stable.
Another 17-year-old girl is in critical condition after the impact, which occurred around 3:00 a.m. Sunday, between Bryant Avenue and Viele Avenue, in Hunts Point.
Although the cause of the accident is not clear, the Police are reviewing some videos captured by public surveillance cameras. Allegedly, the driver had been doing stunts with the car, until he lost control and collided with the truck.
If this hypothesis is confirmed, he could face charges.
According to local media, the deceased young people were identified as Gilvante Roberson, a Brooklyn resident, and Sabrina Villagómez, the 15-year-old teenager.
