“Rest in peace, our beloved Lesuño“, the boy’s father wrote on Facebook.
A little over a month ago, at the beginning of December last 2023, little Veles fell into a coma right in the dental chair. A tragedy occurred in a private clinic in Lvov, where parents brought their child to have his baby teeth removed.
The father reported that, on the recommendation of doctors, they decided to perform the procedure under general anesthesia.
“The child protested very much in the operating room and did not allow him to put on a mask (with gas for anesthesia – ed.), as if he felt… The anesthesiologist, in front of his wife, forcibly put it on his son. The wife asked to stop this, but the anesthesiologist did not listen“, – told formerly the baby’s father.
As a result, according to him, the child never woke up. As it turned out, his heart stopped during the operation. It was not possible to quickly resuscitate the child, which resulted in brain death. Doctors almost immediately informed the parents that there was no chance of salvation. For a month his life was supported by devices, but eventually there was a gradual death of the internal organs. The boy died.
A criminal case has been opened against the clinic where a 5-year-old child was fatally injured. Parents blame doctors for the tragedy.
