A 47-year-old doctor in Lamia, father of 4 children, breathed his last on the asphalt in a traffic accident on the Lamia-Domokos road.
The 47-year-old was moving with his large displacement engine in the direction of Lamia, when, according to the first data collected by the Police, a rural car came out of a dirt road and tried to cross the road vertically to move towards Domokos.
The two vehicles collided head-on and the bicyclist was thrown into the air, fell on the asphalt and was killed instantly, reports tvstar.gr.
They took him to the hospital where he worked
The driver of the agricultural vehicle was also injured in the collision and taken to the Lamia hospital, while his wife was also in the vehicle.
The doctor, who came from Volos, was taken dead to the hospital where he worked with his colleagues unable to believe what happened.
With her announcement, the hospital management and staff expressed their support to the wife and children of the 47-year-old.
