German bobsledder Richard Adjei, an Olympic medalist from Vancouver, a former world and European champion, died at the age of 37. The cause of death was not disclosed by his family.
Adjei, who was also a professional American football player, won silver in the double bomb with Thomas Florschütz at the 2010 Olympic Games in Canada. As a brakeman, he celebrated the world and European title in the four-point pilot Manuel Machata. He reached both nine years ago.
