Tragedy in England. The world champion who spent his entire career at the same club dies

Friday 23rd December, England football team “Fulham” announced the death of the club legend George Cohen.

Cohen died at the age of 83. The English legend played at right-back and spent his entire career at Fulham from 1956 to 1969.

Cohen played 459 games for Fulham, scored 6 goals, but never won a single trophy. Cohen was England’s vice-captain at their triumphant 1966 World Cup. The defender played all of their home World Cup matches in full. Cohen made 37 caps for the national team.
