Shokeen and Kataria conspired on the occasion. Kataria said the duo created MBK Global Visa Pvt Ltd, a visa consultancy, and capitalized on its popularity among youth to attract job seekers in countries such as Singapore.

Victims are often encouraged to travel to Laos after payment in advance. The statement said that investigation into the matter is continuing to identify other accused persons who were involved in the racket and break the entire syndicate.
