Traffic will be restricted at the Crimea International Platform Parliamentary Conference

In connection with the parliamentary summit of the International Crimean Platform in Riga, the stopping and parking of vehicles will be prohibited in several places in the city.

From 22 October at 7.00 am to 26 October at 13.00 it will be forbidden to stop and stand:

• On the left side of Elizabetes Street, in the section from Baznīcas Street to Brīvības Street;
• on both sides of Baznīcas Street, in the section from Elizabetes Street to Dzirnavu Street;
• In the section of boulevard Raina from the building at 4 boulevard Raina to Reimersa street.

Also, from October 22 at 7.00 am to October 24 at 20.00 restrictions are set on the left side of Dzirnavu Street, in the section from Brīvibas Street to Baznīcas Street, but on October 23 from 7.00 am to 21.00 – in Castle Square and on both sides of the Castle Square, in the section from Torņa Street to Mazajai Pils Street.

It is forbidden to stop and stand on October 23 from 7.00 am to 21.00 on both sides of Kalķu Street, in the section from Rātslaukum to the embankment of November 11, but from 7.00 am to 14.00 – On each side of Jauniela, in the section from Square Doma to Maisa Street.

From October 22 at 20.00 to October 24 at At 20.00, vehicle traffic will be closed on Baznīcas Street, in the section from Elizabetes Street to Dzirnavu Street.

Also from October 22 to October 26, if necessary, the traffic of vehicles, pedestrians, electric scooters, rickshaws and bicycles will be restricted or temporarily closed:

• near the buildings at 5/6 Raini boulevard;
• at the building on Jēkaba ​​street 11;
• Elizabetes Street in the section from Krišjāņa Valdemāras Street to Brīvības Street;
• in the section of Dzirnava Street from Brīvības Street to Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street;
• Skolas Street in the section from Dzirnavu Street to Elizabetes Street;
• on Castle Square and near the building on Castle Square 3;
• at the building on Kalpaka Boulevard 3;
• In Town Hall Square and Latviešu strēlnieku Square.

Parking areas for micromobility devices will also be closed:

• from October 22 at 7.00 am to October 26 at 13.00 at the intersection of Elizabetes Street and Brīvibas Boulevard;
• on October 23 from 7.00 am to 21.00 on the 11. November embankment near Gręcinieku street.

Including from 22 October at 7.00 am to 26 October at Parking of shared micromobility devices will be prohibited at 13.00:

• on both sides of Baznīcas Street, in the section from Elizabetes Street to Dzirnavu Street;
• on both sides of Brīvibas Street, in the section from Brīvības Boulevard to Dzirnavu Street;
• on both sides of Dzirnava Street, in the section from Brīvibas Street to Baznīcas Street;
• on both sides of Elizabetes Street, in the section from Skolas Street to Brīvibas Street;
• in Elizabetes Street Road and at the building at 55 Elizabetes Street.

Public transport and pedestrian traffic at the objects visited by the delegations will be managed as necessary.
