With increased traffic on the streets of Athens, today, Tuesday, October 15, is expected to be as well. With the difficulties and delays occurring for the most part in Attiki Odos and Kifisso.
In particular, the Athens – Corinth avenue, at the exit from Dafni to the Refineries, presents problems. The situation is similar at the Athens-Lamia exit, from Moschato to Attiki Odos, but also in the opposite direction from Attiki Odos to KTEL. At the same time, difficulties are faced by drivers who move around the port of Piraeus, but also in the wider area of the city.
At the same time, those crossing after Petrou Ralli up to the Metamorfosi bridge should be armed with patience, as there is a stopped vehicle. Athens Avenue on the way to Elefsina, but also Syngrou Avenue on the way to Athens, from the height of Agios Sostis to Fix, are in “red”.
Alexandras Avenue on the way up, Mesogeion Avenue, as well as Katehaki on the Ilioupoli stream present a severe problem. “Heart attack” occurs at the ascent and descent of Vasilissa Sofia, but also at the ascent of Vasileos Konstantinou Avenue.
Finally, corresponding problems create a traffic jam in Achilleos-Marni, but also on Poseidonos Avenue from Alimos to Karaiskakis, on the way to Piraeus.
Traffic also on Attiki Odos
Delays are also noted on Attiki Odos, which reach up to more than half an hour.
More precisely, on the way to the airport, the traffic jam stops drivers for at least 30 minutes. Correspondingly, from the Phylis node to the Kifisias node, the delays are increased.
On the other hand, on the route to Elefsina, the delays are shorter, since there is only a 20-minute wait at the exit for Lamia.
Also, from the Anthousa junction to the Kifissia junction there is a delay of 15 to 20 minutes.
Finally, a problem is also observed in the Regional Egaleo with waits of more than half an hour.
Delays of more than 30′ from Cir. Eigaleo to Kifisias junction on the way to the Airport. Delays on the stream to Elefsina:
5΄-10΄from Placentia junction to Kifissia junction, 15΄-20΄ Approx. Ymittou from Ag. Friday to Kifissia. https://t.co/DrBBu64to6— Attiki Odos Traffic (@aodostraffic) October 15, 2024
