The traffic on the streets of Athens is in “red” for one more day. Central parts of the capital are inaccessible, while there are also long delays on Attiki Odos.
Traffic jams occur in Athens – Lamia in both directions, while the biggest problem at the exit is found from Iera Odos to Acharnon. At the same time, the drivers will need to arm themselves with patience in Athens – Corinth, from Chaidari to Skaramangas.
Alexandras avenues, on the way up, Mesogeion, on various parts of it, and Sygrou avenues on the way up, from Agios Sostis, as well as in Stadiou have increased traffic. There is traffic congestion on Kifissias avenue and on the rise, from Panormou to the height of Filothei, but also on the descent in parts. At the same time, the situation is similar in the ascent, but also in the descent, from the Hilton to Vasilissis Sofias.
At the same time, there is a dense flow of cars on the rise of Kalliroi, as well as on Ilioupoleos avenue. On Poseidonos avenue, in the Piraeus stream, the traffic is observed in parts. While on the road, Varis – Koropiou, Veikou Avenue, and on Vasileos Konstantinou Avenue, on the rise, there are difficulties in movement. A similar situation is observed in Alexandras, but also in Katehaki in the stream towards Ilioupoli.
Finally, on Attiki Odos there are delays of more than 30 minutes between Fyli and Kifissia. On the Metamorfosi to Kifisia route, vehicles are delayed 15 to 20 minutes.
At the same time on the stream towards Elefsina, in the Marathon – Kifisia section, drivers wait 20 to 25 minutes. While there is a shorter delay on the Ymittos ring road, at the height of Agia Paraskevi to Kifissia, with 15 to 20 minutes.
