In the traffic incident that took place on Ziya Rızkı Street in Kyrenia on November 24, 2023, at around 01:30 at night, the driver named Maksat KERİMOV (E-44) was driving in the south direction with his saloon vehicle with license plate NB 055, which was under the influence of 415 milligrams of alcoholic beverages. The saloon with plate number RT 406, driven by Polen MAYDA (K-23), who was driving and stopped due to traffic, carelessly crashed into the back of the vehicle.
As a result of the accident, thankfully no one was injured, and the drunk driver Maksat KERİMOV (E-44) was arrested. The investigation launched into the incident is still ongoing. While these dangerous moments in traffic once again draw attention to the dire consequences of drunk driving, it is stated that justice is being tried to be achieved with the arrest of KERİMOV, the driver of the vehicle with plate number NB 055.
