traffic resumes after an hour of interruption

On Friday, in the middle of the afternoon, an accident took place on the A36 motorway at kilometer point 205, in the direction of Mulhouse. According to the gendarmerie, a truck traveling in the direction Mulhouse – Beaune lost control while wanting, according to the driver, to avoid something. The vehicle struck the right rail and was thrown towards the median, which it crossed, before lying down in the middle of the track.

Luckily, no other vehicle was hit. The driver was not injured and the drug tests were negative.

The A36 closed to traffic until 5.30 p.m.

The accident took place a few kilometers after Beaune and the junction between the A31 and the A36. During the emergency response, the A36 motorway is closed to traffic. According to APPR, at 4:25 p.m., a 2.5 km traffic jam formed on the A36. The gendarmes indicated that there was 3 km of detention: a mandatory exit had been set up on the Beaune side.

According to our information, at 5.30 p.m. traffic resumed on one lane. The cut lasted 2 hours 30 according to the gendarmerie.
