The incident took place around 8 p.m. on the N276 between the Kennedylaan roundabout and the N300 roundabout. During the traffic dispute, an object was thrown into the car by one of the scooter riders through an open window. Shortly afterwards, the rear seat of the vehicle caught fire. The driver then stopped the vehicle and fled. Despite the efforts of the fire brigade, the car burned down completely.

The driver did not sustain any injuries from the incident. It is not known what caused the altercation. The police are looking for witnesses.
