Munich (dpa / lby) – snow and ice have caused difficult road conditions in Bavaria. There were some accidents, especially in the south of the Free State, as police spokesman announced on Wednesday morning. It remained mostly with body damage.
In Böhen (Unterallgäu district), according to the information, a car on the slippery road left the curve and slipped into a ditch. The four occupants of the vehicle suffered minor injuries, police said.
On Autobahn 7 near Bad Grönenbach in the Lower Allgäu, a truck slipped, hit the crash barrier and finally blocked the Autobahn in the direction of Füssen (Ostallgäu district). The police diverted traffic, the car was towed away and the road was reopened. The driver was slightly injured.
The German Weather Service warned of ice and frost in Bavaria, and even of heavy snowfall and snowdrifts in southern Bavaria.
