New day, new struggles. This Wednesday, March 6, motorists will once again face dense traffic on the roads of Toulouse; traffic jams have already started between Léguevin and Colomiers. But they shouldn’t be the only ones all morning. The Journal Toulousain takes stock of traffic conditions with smart one.

9 a.m.: an accident disrupts traffic north of Toulouse this Wednesday

Traffic jams persist on all the roads in Toulouse this Wednesday morning, and traffic is not going to improve any time soon, particularly in the north of the city. Indeed, around 9 a.m., Bison Futé reported an accident which had just taken place on the A62 at Exit 12 Les Izards towards Bordeaux. Only a light vehicle would be involved. Be vigilant in the area.

8:20 a.m.: traffic jams all over Toulouse

Rush hour is in full swing in Toulouse. Around 8:20 a.m., all of the roads in the Pink City are saturated. In the West, motorists are stopped over 9 kilometers between Léguevin and Toulouse, but also over 3 kilometers on the outer ring road in the Jean Jaurès University sector. To the South, if you are traveling on the A64, slowdowns now extend over more than 7 kilometers between Roques and the ring road. Then, on the inner ring road, in the East-West direction, Toulouse residents are stuck in traffic jams for more than 4 kilometers between Montaudran and Bagatelle.
To the West, slowdowns persist on the A61 towards Narbonne with disruptions felt for more than 5 kilometers. Without forgetting the dense traffic on the A62, between the Sesquières interchange and that towards the A68.

7:30 a.m.: saturated traffic south of the city

Traffic continues to deteriorate south of Toulouse. From 7:35 a.m., traffic jams and slowdowns punctuate the movements of Toulouse residents. On the A64, motorists are stopped for more than 6 kilometers between Roques and Portet-sur-Garonne. On the A620, there are more than 5 kilometers of traffic jams in the East-West direction and 2 kilometers in the opposite direction. In the West, travel times are significantly extended due to traffic jams of more than 8 kilometers in the direction of Toulouse. Likewise, if you are traveling on the A62 towards Bordeaux, it gets stuck between Balma and Sesquières, as on the A61, between L’Union and Saint-Orens-de-Gameville. Patience.

7:20 a.m.: traffic deteriorates south of Toulouse

Slowdowns quickly intensified on the A64 towards Toulouse. They now extend over more than 7 kilometers between Roques and the ring road. Same thing on the Léguevin side where motorists are stopped for more than 4 kilometers towards the Pink City. Also note that a traffic jam is forming on the inner ring road, at the junction between the A64 and the A620. Many people from Toulouse use the ring road.

On the A62 side, motorists are also starting to slow down towards Bordeaux. There are many of you at the Sesquières interchange, but also on the Montaudran side, where slowdowns are gradually appearing on the A61.

7:10 a.m.: traffic slows down south of Toulouse

The situation deteriorates slightly on the A64 side, between Roques and Portet-sur-Garonne. Around 7:10 a.m., the Toulouse residents in turn began to slow down for more than three kilometers towards the Pink City. To the North, also note that an obstacle is hindering traffic on the A620, at the exit of the Sesquières interchange towards Les Sept Deniers. Be vigilant in the area.

7 a.m.: 2 kilometers of traffic jams between Léguevin and Colomiers this Wednesday

This is becoming common for motorists coming from Gers: every morning, they find themselves stuck in traffic jams between Léguevin and Colomiers. This Wednesday, the traffic jams started around 7 a.m., and already extend for more than 2 kilometers towards Toulouse. This is the only area where traffic is heavy at the moment. Traffic remains fluid on the rest of the Toulouse ring road.
