Traffic Jams Frustrate Visitors at Ragunan Wildlife Park in Jakarta on New Year’s Day 2024

Wildlife Park Ragunan South Jakarta (Jaksel) was packed with visitors on the first day of the new year 2024. One of the visitors, Renin (29), admitted that he had difficulty finding parking because the traffic was badly jammed.

“This Already “It’s really bad, traffic jams, because it’s closed there so you can’t get out of here,” said Renin at the Ragunan Entrance, South Jakarta, Monday (1/1/2024).

Renin chose to park his motorbike at a minimarket. He said he chose to park outside the Ragunan Wildlife Park area because he was tired of being stuck in traffic.

“At the minimarket (pay) IDR 5,000. So it’s fast because Already there’s a lot of traffic, so… directed here aja some of that,” he said.

Another visitor, Nia (27), also complained about traffic jams in the Ragunan area. According to him, traffic jams mean that his time for traveling in Ragunan is wasted on the road.

“(Sorry) really, takes time. So it’s time wasted in vain,” said Nia.

Nia chose to travel to Ragunan because it was close to home. He said it usually only takes 15 minutes to get to Ragunan, but today it took 30 minutes.

“Because it’s closer to home and economical,” he said.

Another visitor, Soni (42), also complained that it was difficult to find a parking space because the road to the main entrance was congested. He chose to get out of the car and walk to Ragunan.

“I had (difficulty finding parking). The car was still behind, just arrived play around wall. Earlier stuckbut child Already I didn’t feel comfortable inside and finally went down the street. “There were still people in the car,” said Soni.

Soni admitted that he spent 3 hours from Pilingiling, Cakung, East Jakarta, to Ragunan. He chose to travel to Ragunan to fulfill his child’s wishes.

“If you say so regret it Maybe there is, just for children aja. This one has never been to Ragunan, his brothers have Already,” he said.
