MAINZ – Due to a traffic accident at the height of the pyramid in Mainz-Hechtsheim on the A60 in the direction of Darmstadt, there were sometimes significant traffic disruptions on Thursday afternoon between 4 p.m. and 5.30 p.m.
According to a police spokesman, a car hit the guardrail. As a result, there were obstructions due to closures. The driver of the car involved was unharmed, the spokesman said. The entire lane was reopened shortly before 5:30 p.m.
