Traffic Jam on Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, One Way Cipali Toll Road Extended

Traffic on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road has stalled tonight. The traffic jam occurred on the toll road that leads to Cikampek.

monitoring detikcomWednesday (19/4/2023), at 23.00 WIB, a vehicle was seen snaking on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, at Km 31 to be precise. It was seen that the car occasionally moved slowly until it got stuck.

You can see a long line of these vehicles starting from before Km 31 to Cikampek. Meanwhile, in the opposite direction, the toll road traffic was quiet.

Vehicles are dominated by private cars to tourist buses.

One Way Cipali Toll Road Extended

The one way or one way system on the Cipali-Kalikangkung Toll Road has been extended again. Extra time one way scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.

One way which was previously scheduled to end on Wednesday (19/4), at 00.00 WIB tonight but was extended until tomorrow at 12.00 WIB. Extension one way situational.

“Extension of traffic engineering one way It is estimated that it will end on Wednesday, April 20, 2023 at 12.00 WIB,” said the Head of Ops Korlantas Kombes Eddy Djunaedi in his statement, Wednesday (19/4).

Eddy said, when three hours before the schedule one way ends there is still an increase in the volume of vehicles, possibly one way will still be extended. He said traffic engineering would be carried out according to conditions on the ground.

However, if the time period is three hours before the scheduled termination one way there is still a significant increase in traffic volume from Jakarta to the east, it is possible to re-adjust the traffic engineering termination schedule one way (CB engineering one way can be continued or terminated and traffic will return to normal both ways),” he said.
