The ADAC is again expecting traffic jams for the Ascension weekend, especially in the metropolitan areas. The club expects the first disabilities on Wednesday between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Especially in the federal states of Berlin, Bremen, Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, Lower Saxony, Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia, many short breaks are likely to start, since there is no school on Fridays after the holiday. The return wave is expected to peak on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It will be relatively quiet on the main roads in Germany on Friday.
