Earlier this afternoon it was especially busy around Rotterdam due to a malfunction in the Ketheltunnel. Around five o’clock there were 1120 kilometers of traffic jams throughout the Netherlands and it was busier than the previous busiest rush hour of this year, the ANWB reported. A few minutes later that increased to over 1200 kilometers. Five men were arrested on Wednesday in a garage box in Bergen op Zoom for the handling of various motor vehicles. In the garage box, agents found, among other things, a quad bike, dirt bikes and a motor scooter.

The police tracked down the vehicles after a quad bike was stolen in Alphen-Chaam. These are men from Rotterdam (58 years), Bergen op Zoom (17, 17.22 years) and Sint-Maartensdijk (27 years) in Zeeland. The five have been detained for further investigation.
