Traffic Jam Causes Sweat Shower for Residents of South Tangerang

Congestion occurred on Jalan Engineer H Juanda, Ciputat, South Tangerang (Tangsel), heading to Jakarta. Residents also complained about being stuck in traffic jams so that their bodies felt like they were showering with sweat.

monitoring detikcom at the location, at 08.35 WIB, Tuesday (16/5/2023), a traffic jam occurred on the traffic towards Jakarta. Meanwhile, traffic conditions in the opposite direction were monitored smoothly.

Motorists were heard honking at each other. A number of Tangsel Transportation Service (Dishub) officers were seen at the location directing traffic.

Traffic jams started from the Ciputat flyover to the Gintung red light. One of the drivers, Raihan (26), admitted that his body was drenched in sweat because he was stuck in a traffic jam in the hot weather.

“It’s too hot, it’s jammed again, so we’re showering with sweat like this. Hopefully there’s a solution for this traffic jam. So we don’t have to keep getting stuck in traffic jams every morning,” he said.

Another resident, Tuta (26), also admitted that he had to sweat because he was stuck in a traffic jam. He hopes the traffic jams on the route can be overcome.

“Yes, the traffic jam is quite long. It’s also sweaty, it’s quite wet,” said Tuta.
