Traffic Jam at Druskininki Border Point – Causes and Solutions

Approaching the border point, a long line of cars has formed, stretching several kilometers. At the border point itself, some cars are waiting for inspection. True, cars are not the only ones left here – bicycles are scattered on the side of the road. As it turns out, they were left here on purpose and are causing problems. Andrjus Beloruchkins, commander of the Druskininki border point, explained to the “15min” portal why this happened. “You see, this year various vehicle bans were imposed throughout the European Union. Likewise in Lithuania. These bans do not exist in Belarus and Russia.”
