Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – In Freiburg, a pedestrian was hit by a tram on Sunday – and then went on. The tram driver, however, was so shocked that he could no longer continue and was relieved, the police said. According to her, the accident occurred on Sunday at around 2:20 p.m. at the Stadttheater stop.
As a result, the pedestrian ran directly in front of the tram approaching from the direction of the train station. The driver was unable to prevent the collision despite emergency braking. The passer-by was probably not injured or only slightly injured, the passengers in the train were uninjured.
The pedestrian or possible witnesses who can provide information about the man or what happened are asked to report to the Freiburg traffic police on 0761 / 882-3100.
