One car crashed into another in Viekrysset, Førde late Sunday evening. No serious injuries were reported, operations manager Eivind Hellesund told Firda.
– But one of the people involved complains of back pain. There are a total of three people involved in the traffic accident, she says.
An ambulance immediately arrived and searched for the people involved.
– There were two people in a car, both were sent to the emergency room. There is one person in the other car, who is said to be unhurt, accident manager Daniev Stenvig told police.
He says the accident occurred when a driver did not respect the right of way. He had his license revoked on the spot, and he will be reported for it. There is no suspicion of intoxication.
The accident must have occurred at low speed, says Hellesund, and there is no serious damage to the cars. It was slippery at that point and it was difficult to move.
There was a lot of broken glass on the street. Traffic was diverted, but at 9.30pm the cars were removed from the roadway and traffic was calm.
