Vigilance is required this Tuesday morning on the roads of the Toulouse area. Indeed, from 6:50 a.m., incidents multiply on the city’s various roads. The first accidents took place on the A62 between Montauban and Toulouse near Saint-Sauveur and on the A624 towards Colomiers, and a third, a few minutes later, on the A68 near Saint-Jean. These events are creating major disruptions and extending travel times this morning. The Journal Toulousain takes stock of the situation.
Accidents in Colomiers or north of Toulouse
West of Toulouse: shortly before 7 a.m. this morning, smart one reported several accidents including one involving two light vehicles on the A624 towards Colomiers. The incident then disrupted traffic on two lanes, those in the middle and on the right as well as on the emergency lane, creating a traffic jam of more than 3 kilometers in the Toulouse – Colomiers direction. In the opposite direction, no accident, but motorists are still driving at a standstill in the area. Indeed, from 7:10 a.m., a traffic jam of more than 8 kilometers was reported near Léguevin, in the direction of Toulouse on the N124. Traffic is very heavy.
North of Toulouse: if you arrive from Montauban, be vigilant. An accident took place around 6:50 a.m. this Tuesday morning on the A62 between Bordeaux and Toulouse. A light vehicle would be involved near Saint-Sauveur. He is currently on the emergency lane. Be careful in the sector. Then, once you arrive in Toulouse, there are still so many people at the Sesquières interchange. Traffic jams and slowdowns are underway, particularly on the A620 towards the south of the city but also on the inner ring road towards the east. And traffic is severely disrupted on the A68 coming from Albi, with slowdowns felt as far as Gragnague. Bison Futé also reports a pile-up between three cars in Saint-Jean in the direction of Toulouse. Be careful.

South of Toulouse: traffic is also heavy on the A64 from Muret towards the Pink City. Motorists drive slowly for more than 9 kilometers. Without forgetting the major traffic jam underway on the A620 in the East-West direction. Bison Futé records traffic jams extending over 9.5 kilometers.
East of Toulouse: only this sector is less affected by complicated traffic conditions. At 7:40 a.m., a slowdown began to form over more than a kilometer between Quint-Fonsegrives and Saint-Orens-de-Gameville. But nothing too bad.
