This Tuesday morning, around 7 a.m., a man driving a Renault Kangoo dozed off while overtaking a heavy goods vehicle on the RN 88, near Monistrol-sur-Loire. The driver then hit the truck, before crashing into the central guardrail. Shocked, the man was transported to the Firminy hospital center for additional examinations.
Disruptions until 1:30 p.m.
Traffic has since been neutralized on two lanes (one on each side of the barrier) over a distance of 1.5 km, to let teams from the DiR Massif central repair the barrier. Disruptions are expected until 1:30 p.m.
