RER and metro traffic will be disrupted on various sections on Monday due to continued summer work on the lines.
Regarding the RER, IDF Mobilités announces disrupted traffic on the entire RER A with in particular an extension of the closure of the line between Nanterre University and Aubervilliers as well as that which connects Cergy-le-Haut and Poissy.
The RER B is also experiencing complications since traffic between Massy Palaiseau and Les Baconnets will remain interrupted until August 27 as a consequence of the accident that occurred on a railroad site in Massy a few weeks ago.
Train breakdowns caused the cancellation of several departures on the line connecting Pontoise to the National Library François Mitterrand on the RER C.
Finally, on the RER D, traffic is severely disrupted between Orry-la-Ville – Coye and Villeneuve-Saint-Georges due to the extension of works in the Châtelet sector.
Metro line 4 also disrupted
On the metro side, a large part of the lines should run smoothly on Monday. Line 4 is an exception since since this Sunday, it has been closed, in both directions from 4 a.m. to 12 p.m. due to renovation work. The line will remain closed on this time slot until December 19, the date scheduled for the end of the work. It should also be noted that line 6 traffic is still interrupted between Montparnasse-Bienvenue and Trocadéro as part of heritage maintenance work. It should return to normal this Friday.
