traffic disrupted in August to allow work

Lille-Flandres station will not be served on several Sundays as well as from August 13 to 15.

Be careful if you have to pass through Lille-Flandres station in August. Due to track renewal work near the station, traffic will be disrupted for several weekends.

The station will not be served on Sundays August 7, 21 and 28 until 11:30 a.m., indicates the SNCF. Some TER will not run, while others will be limited to stops in Hazebrouck, Don Sainghin, Douai and Valenciennes. After 11:30 a.m., however, traffic will resume as normal.

Lille-Flandres station will also not be served by any train on August 13 and 14 all day, and on August 15 until 3 p.m. Several TER will be diverted to Lille-CHR station or Roubaix station.

In order to reach the city center of Lille from these stations, the SNCF advises to take lines 1 and 2 of the metro. Be aware, however, that on Sunday August 14, metro line 1 will be interrupted from 1:30 p.m. and that replacement buses will be put in place.
