Traffic controls: Drivers with alcohol and drugs in their blood

Not everyone had a driver’s license. Several preliminary investigations have been initiated.

At around 11 p.m., a 20-year-old driver who does not have a valid driver’s license was stopped at Fuhsering. Since the driver stated that he wanted to continue driving, the vehicle key was secured. A preliminary investigation into driving without a license has been initiated.

Without a license, with alcohol

Half an hour later, a 40-year-old driver was checked on the main road in Eixe. The police found that the man was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Furthermore, the driver could not prove a valid driver’s license. The police arranged for a blood sample to be taken. Proceedings have been initiated for drunk driving and driving without a license.

Later that night, around 2:30 a.m., a 33-year-old driver was shown to be influenced by intoxicating substances using a drug test carried out on site. The police arranged for a blood sample to be taken. A corresponding procedure has been initiated.
