Darmstadt (ots) – The journey of a 29 – year – old ended on Sunday (10.1.) In Frankfurter Strasse with his provisional arrest and the search of his apartment, during which the police officers from the 1st police station seized drugs and cash, among other things.

Because the man from Darmstadt was on the phone in his car while he was driving, he had drawn the attention of the officers. The police stopped and checked the man around 2:45 p.m. on Frankfurter Strasse. When the police opened the car, the officers immediately smelled the smell of marijuana. This fact led to the search of his car. The police came across around 40 grams of marijuana and 20 tablets of ecstasy. The man from Darmstadt was arrested and taken to the police station. The suspect’s apartment was then searched by order of the Darmstadt public prosecutor’s office and by order of the local court. The officers were supported by a service dog. With success. In the man’s living quarters, the law enforcement officers found around 16 grams of marijuana and 19 grams of a substance that is alleged to be amphetamines, as well as cash amounting to 755 euros. In addition, a dummy assault rifle and a machete could be found from the accused in the course of the investigation. The 29-year-old, who was released after the measure, will now have to answer criminally.
